Why are we gathering?

Peace as something
we can practice.
Together.

This summer, people from around the world will gather online to playfully experiment with interactive storytelling experiences dedicated to peace and the strength of diversity.

In a time when so much energy is directed toward fear, separation, and conflict, we are asking a different question:

What experiences allow people to listen, imagine, create, belong and empower each other?

How the laboratory is organised

The lab is organised through three interconnected tracks running simultaneously. Every output is built from all three dimensions — they cannot be separated.

01

Fuji Sanctuary in Japan was created by Byakko Shinko Kai — a place where people from many nations, cultures, and faiths have gathered for nearly three decades in prayer for peace.

02

The heart of Fuji Sanctuary is a sacred field surrounded by the flags of the world, where people gather often to offer attention, intention, ritual and care as powerful, unseen forces in service to all beings on Mother Earth.

03

For the last 6 months, the Radiant IRIS collective and Byakko Shinko Kai have been wondering how to translate the essence of their Seven Station Ritual for World Peace into a form for the next generation and offer their wisdom cross-culturally.

04

The Collaboratorium will be another step toward the realization of this dream. We will offer the library of meaningful interactive rituals to Byakko Shinko Kai to see if any of the experiences can be in service for an October 2026 ceremony to repattern WWII energy.

05

One thousand and one moons ago, nations from around the world unleashed great destruction with the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. At this pivotal energetic juncture, we are again bringing cultures from around the world to unleash great creativity in service to revitalizing indigenous storytelling wisdom through modern technology.

06

The groups that create rituals selected for the October ceremony will be invited to participate in this offering if they wish. Radiant IRIS collective wishes this Collaboratorium to be the first of many that will eventually lead to in-person and online seasonal gatherings that will keep weaving cross-cultural communities together.

  4. After Orientation, decide whether you would like to participate in the ongoing gatherings.

Submitting the form does not commit you to participate. It simply helps us understand who is interested and how to design the experience together.

Collaboratorium is free to join. There is no cost to participate in the online laboratory.

Collaboratorium is a volunteer-based creative laboratory. There is no financial compensation. Participants gain access to a multidisciplinary creative community, collaborative projects, new relationships, and learning opportunities.

Participants are encouraged to attend the sessions and engage between as their schedule allows. There is flexibility in how deeply you choose to participate.

The sessions are designed to accommodate participants across Asia, Europe, and North America. Session times will be finalized after applications are reviewed. Asynchronous participation will also be available, so you can contribute on your own schedule.

Before the laboratory begins, all participants will receive clear information about how contributions, credit, and future use of materials will be handled. Our intention is a process that is transparent, fair, and aligned with the spirit of collaboration.

Every Collaboratorium seasonal cycle produces new ideas and prototypes, experience concepts, rituals, participation models, and creative partnerships. But perhaps more importantly: a deeper capacity to create together, relationships that continue beyond a single project, and a shared language among collaborators.

The Collaboratorium will be conducted primarily in English and Japanese. We welcome participants from all linguistic backgrounds and will do our best to support cross-cultural communication throughout.
